What is Tokidoki?

Tokidoki, which translates to “sometimes” in Japanese, is an internationally recognized and iconic lifestyle brand based on the vision of Italian artist Simone Legno and his partners, serial entrepreneurs Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold.

Tokidoki was created by an Italian "graffiti artist" very well known in the contemporary arts. Designer Simone Legno started his brand in 2003 in Los Angeles and quickly became very well known.

Today he can boast of collaborating for: Karl Lagerfeld, LeSportsac, Onitsuka Tiger, Marvel, New Era, Hello Kitty, Fujitsu, Levi's, Smashbox cosmetics, Xbox, T-mobile, Fornarina, Skullcandy and Medicom Toy.

The Tokidoki characters are also those of a comic book. The drawings are inspired by graffiti, manga and also American comics. The style is particular and fun, it will appeal to young adults mainly.

Tokidoki Bedsheets - 1000TC Egyptian Cotton

All our Tokidoki bed sheets are made from Egyptian cotton or 100% long-staple cotton are considered the most luxurious in the world due to their exceptional properties.

Not only are Egyptian cotton sheets softer to the touch, but they are also stronger, retain their color better and are more durable over time compared to sheets made with short-fibres.

Grown along the Nile Valley in Egypt, this cotton, which yields the finest and longest commodities, has been used for over 140 years. Long-staple Egyptian cotton also comes from the Gossypium Barbadense species, but it is stronger and more flexible due to the hot, dry climate of the Nile Valley climate. Its fibers improve over time, making it the finest cotton on the market but also the most expensive due to its rarity.

Take care of your Tokidoki bedsheets

Egyptian cotton, like all long fiber cottons, has the advantage of being both easy to care for and becoming softer with every wash.

Before first use, we recommend soaking your sheets overnight in cold water or performing a first cold wash in order to relax the fibers and preserve the colours. For subsequent washes, avoid subjecting your sheets to too high wash temperatures and spin speeds (40 degrees is usually sufficient).

Prefer line drying to preserve the Egyptian cotton fibres. If you use a dryer, opt for a moderate temperature and remember to take out your sheets before they are completely dry. This will make them more flexible and easy to iron.
